Organic Shine Muscat Grapes

Japanese Premium Variety • Rose Aroma • Organically Grown

Summer Limited Edition! Our premium organic Shine Muscat grapes, grown in the mountains with pure spring water, have finally arrived.

This highly acclaimed Japanese variety is cultivated using 100% organic farming methods, completely free from pesticides and growth regulators.

The skin is clean and pure, allowing you to enjoy the grapes with the skin on. Grown under abundant sunlight in the mountains with pure water, the grapes develop large, plump berries with thin, seedless skin. Their smooth surface has a beautiful yellow-green color with a natural crystal-like sheen.

Harvested at peak ripeness and delivered fresh from the farm, they retain their original refreshing sweetness.

A Burst of Rose Aroma in Every Bite

Take a bite and you’ll first experience a unique honey-like sweetness, followed by a delightful rose floral aroma. This is then complemented by rich, juicy fruit sweetness.

The flesh is crystal-clear, crisp yet tender, and satisfyingly plump, offering a clean and refreshing taste that cuts through richness.

The skin peels away easily, revealing glistening flesh that bursts on the tongue — a truly distinctive and premium variety among grapes.

Natural Anti-Aging Benefits

The skin of Shine Muscat grapes is rich in powerful antioxidants, including flavonols, catechins, quercetin, and resveratrol. Because these grapes are organically grown, you can safely eat them with the skin to fully enjoy their natural anti-aging properties.

The flesh is packed with vitamins, minerals, amino acids, and proteins, helping to quickly replenish electrolytes and restore energy.

The skin is also high in dietary fiber, which absorbs water and expands in the digestive tract to promote a feeling of fullness. Additionally, it contains resveratrol, which studies suggest may help improve fat metabolism and reduce fat accumulation — making it an excellent choice for those looking to maintain a healthy weight during summer.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Shine Muscat grapes are rich in “flavonoids”. How is this different from the “anthocyanins” found in dark-colored grapes?

A: Both are powerful natural antioxidants, but they serve slightly different functions. Anthocyanins are mainly found in blue and purple fruits (such as Kyoho grapes). Flavonoids (including flavonols, catechins, quercetin, and resveratrol) are the key antioxidants present in the yellow-green skin of Shine Muscat grapes. Because our Shine Muscat grapes have thin, seedless skin with no bitterness, you can wash and eat them with the skin on to fully absorb these natural anti-aging compounds that support healthy skin, cardiovascular health, and help reduce inflammation.

Q: Why do you emphasize that your Shine Muscat grapes can be eaten with the skin? Can’t regular ones be eaten this way?

A: Conventional Shine Muscat grapes are often treated with chemical growth regulators and pesticides to achieve extremely large fruit size. As a result, the skin may contain chemical residues and can taste slightly astringent. Our farm strictly follows organic cultivation and does not use any pesticides or chemical growth agents. The skin is naturally clean, very thin, and completely free from bitterness, allowing you to truly enjoy the grapes with the skin on in a safe and worry-free way.

Q: Why do some grapes look green while others appear more yellow-green? Which ones are sweeter?

A: The yellow-green grapes are actually sweeter and more aromatic. As Shine Muscat grapes ripen under abundant summer sunlight, their skin gradually changes from green to a translucent yellow-green with a slight amber glow. This color change is a natural sign that the grapes have fully ripened and reached their peak sugar level. At this stage, the honey-like sweetness and rose aroma are the most intense — this is considered the ideal and highest level of ripeness.

Q: I heard that eating grapes won’t make you gain weight. Can I eat them as a main meal for weight loss?

A: Grapes are relatively low in calories and make a good choice as an afternoon snack or light treat, but they are not recommended as a main meal for long-term consumption. Each 100g of grapes contains approximately 57–65 kcal. They contain dietary fiber and resveratrol, which can help promote satiety and may support fat metabolism. However, because grapes contain a high amount of natural fruit sugar, eating too many at once can still lead to a high sugar intake. We recommend enjoying about 10–15 grapes per day (adjust according to size) as a snack alongside your regular meals. For a refreshing low-calorie option, try washing and freezing the grapes — they turn into a natural sorbet that serves as a healthier alternative to ice cream or other sweet desserts.
